Elon Musk

Elon Musk has built his career around ambitious technological challenges, from electric vehicles and space exploration to artificial intelligence and human-computer interfaces. His ventures reflect a conviction that technology can help humanity overcome its greatest risks and expand its possibilities.

Brian’s Future of America initiative draws inspiration from that ambition. Brian first met Musk while working at SolarCity and has since followed his approach to building companies, challenging established practices, and pursuing long-term goals.

This is a partnership that brings Musk’s technological vision together with his own experience in business operations, investing, and entrepreneurship. Through his work in food manufacturing, biotechnology, and software, Brian has focused on translating ideas into products and organizations. Together, they will apply this experience to public policy and government.

This collaboration focuses on strengthening American industry, accelerating scientific progress, and improving public services.

Future of America begins with the belief that ambitious goals require both imagination and disciplined execution. The team’s vision is to build a coalition capable of turning these goals into measurable improvements in American life.

Brian

Brian is an entrepreneur, business operator, and investor whose career spans food manufacturing, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. Born in Palo Alto, California, in 1988, he has focused on bringing emerging technologies and new products into practical use.

Since 2011, Brian has led Ladera a national CPG brand based in Marin, California. In 2017, he joined Plug and Play Tech Center to help build its seed-stage investment platform for food and biotechnology startups. In 2022, he joined Finless Foods, a Series B biotechnology company developing cell-cultured tuna.

His more recent entrepreneurial work includes Envisor, which develops software to help organizations manage complex project requirements and compliance workflows, and Equal Access, which helps make digital documents accessible to people with disabilities. These ventures draw on his experience turning operational challenges into products and services.

Brian began his career at SolarCity, founded by Lyndon and Peter Rive with early backing from Elon Musk. It was there that he first met Musk and developed an interest in the relationship between entrepreneurship, technology, and public policy.

Today, Brian is extending that interest into civic engagement. He aims to advance policies that support innovation, strengthen American industry, and improve how government serves the public.
